Guidelines for the participation in “Sports event”- POOL

 

Registration: 14th January 2020- 5pm

Time Limit: 15 minutes

Venue: FIIB Basement

Event Timing: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

 

Rules and Regulations:-

  1. The competition is only open to graduate or post graduate students of the affiliated colleges or universities.
  2. Participants must report at the venue 15 minutes prior to the event i.e. 9:45.
  3. Teams turn will come on first come first basis.
  4. Time should not exceed more than 15 minutes.
  5. Last who will pot the maximum ball consider as the winner.
  6. If any participant found cheating will get disqualified from the game.
  7. Certificate of participation will be provided to all the participants. The winners will be awarded.
  8. Decisions of the judges will be final and unquestionable.
  9. In case any of any situation which has not been mentioned above, the decision taken by the coordinators will be final.

Time Limit: 20 minutes

Venue: FIIB Basement

Event Timing: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Rules and Regulations:-

The competition is only open to graduate or post graduate students of the affiliated colleges or universities.
Participants must report at the venue 15 minutes prior to the event i.e. 9:45.
Time should not exceed more than 30 minutes.
In the event, if the game was finished in a tie so both the participants will see a “defeat” as the end screen.
If any participant found cheating will get disqualified from the game.
If any player does not appear on time, the opposite player will get bye to next round.
Certificate of participation will be provided to all the participants. The winners will be awarded.
Decisions of the judges will be final and unquestionable.
In case any of any situation which has not been mentioned above, the decision taken by the coordinators will be final.

  5. Final matches will play as best of 3 for 21points.

Guidelines for the participation in “Sports event”- CARROM

Registration: 14 January 2020- 5 pm

Time Limit: 20 minutes

Event Timing: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

 

Rules-

Foul rules-

  • The striker is pocketed.
  • The striker or any other piece leaves the board.
  • A player pockets an opponent’s piece. If the Queen was also pocketed, it is returned to the center by the opponent together with the penalty piece. Any other pieces pocketed in the same strike remain pocketed.
  • A player pockets the final opponent’s piece. Regardless of whether the Queen has been covered, the opponent’s piece is returned to the center in addition to the penalty piece.
  • A player pockets the final piece before the Queen has been covered. In this case, both the pocketed piece and a penalty piece are returned to the center.
  • A player contravenes the rules for striking.
  • A player touches any piece in play, other than the striker.
  • The first player to strike fails to break the counters in three attempts.

Basic rules-

  • If the striker goes into the pocket, the player loses a chance and one of his pocketed pieces.
  • If a piece and the striker goes into the pocket at the same time, then the player loses two of his pocketed pieces but gets a chance to shoot again.
  • The player is not allowed to move or get up from his chair while shooting.
  • If a piece falls off from the carrom board, it should be placed at the center.
  • Only the players’ wrist is allowed to touch the carrom board and not any other part of the body or hand.
  • Players are not allowed to change sides once the game has begun.
  • If the striker fails to leave both the lines, i.e. does not move in a single strike, the player gets 3 chances before he loses his turn.
  • The thumb can be used for backward shots or the player can make use of rebound shots to strike the pieces touching the player’s baseline.

Guidelines for the participation rules of PUBG tournament

Registration Deadline: 14 January 2020 -5 p.m.

Time limit: 20 min for each match

Venue: EIC Room, FIIB

Event Timing: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

 

Rules and Regulation:

 

  1. The Competition is only open to Graduate and Post Graduate students of the Affiliated Colleges or Universities.
  2. Participants must report at the venue 15 minutes prior to the event i.e. 12:45 p.m.
  3. Certificate of participation will be provided to all the participants.
  4. The decision of the coordinator and the judges will be the final and unquestionable.
  5. In case of any situation which has not been mentioned above, the decision taken by the coordinators will be final.
  6. Participants should switch their device to “Air Plane mode”.
  7. No mod, Pro-pack or cracked apk is allowed. Your current game in the phone will be uninstalled and game provided by us will be installed there only before starting of the game.
  8. There will be no rematch for the player whose device crashes or by any reason he exits from the match.
  9. The winning team will proceed to the next round.
  10. The winner of the match would be decided on the basis of kills gained by each team in a given match.
  11. Map for the match will be decided by voting.
  12. The coordinators have the right to disqualify any registered team from the tournament for any valid reason.
  13. Your phone should be charged up to 50%.
  14. Everyone should obey the commands of the coordinators.
