To Participate in the hassgulle competition one must have prepared solo comedy routine.

All comedy material does not include :

Vulgar language or and repeated profanity.

Violent situations and descriptions, inappropriate sexual gestures and descriptions, nudity, inappropriate racism, failure to comply will result in immediate dismissal from the hassgulle competition.

Applicants must specify what they need for their performance in their submitted application. Set and tech equipment available to performers are as follows :

  1. Two hand- held wireless microphones with microphone stands, choral mics, two tall stools, two short stools, and four chairs.

Limited entries based on First Come First Serve basis.

Time Limit- 4-5 mins.

Participants will be judged on the basis of content, fluency, spontaneity, presentation, and sense of humor.

Negative marking for exceeding the time limit.

The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

Guidelines for Arz kiya Hai!!

Registration Deadline: 14 January 2020 -5 p.m.

Time limit: 3 hr.

Venue: Auditorium, FIIB

Event Timing: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

 

Rules and Regulations

  • The Competition is only open to Graduate and Post Graduate students of the Affiliated Colleges or Universities.
  • Participants must report at the venue 15 minutes prior to the event i.e. 12:45 p.m.
  • Time should not exceed more than 5 minutes. Exceeding the time limit will lead to a penalty of marks or disqualification.
  • The participants can speak in English or Hindi or Punjabi or regional language.
  • An individual can carry a script for the 1st
  • Certificate of participation will be provided to all the participants.
  • Please note, entrants should only submit one poem to the competition, multiple entries will not be judged.
  • The decision of the coordinator and the judges will be the final and unquestionable.
  • Entries will be disqualified if they fail to meet these requirements.
  • In case of any situation which has not been mentioned above, the decision taken by the coordinators will be final.

 

The format of competition:

The competition will be held in two rounds. In the first round, the individual can write a poem of his own choice. In the second round, you will be provided the keywords on which you are expected to write the poem.

EVENT DETAILS (SINGING COMPETITION)

PURE VOICE

Do you turn heads when you hum a song?

Samavesh 2019 provides you an opportunity to enthrall your audience with your magical voice

 

Theme: Western/ Fast Number/Cine tunes/ Folk Songs

Rules and Regulations:

  • The songs are to be sung in either English or Hindi.
  • Time limit for solo singing is 3-4 minutes.
  • Participants will be given a warning signal at 3:30 minutes and at 4:00 minutes.
  • If the performance time exceeds at 4 minutes, the participants will be declared disqualified
  • The order of the performances will be decided by the coordinators and will be shared with the participants.
  • Participants must bring their own instruments or instrumental music to perform.
  • Participants have to report at the venue 30 minutes prior to the event i.e. 9:30 a.m.
  • College ID is mandatory, without which participation won’t be allowed
  • Credit will be given to original compositions.
  • Judges’ decision will be final.

GUIDELINES FOR THE PARTICIPATION OF SOLO DANCE COMPETITION

Registration Deadline: 14 January 2020, 5:00 pm

Time Limit: 03 minutes

Venue: Stage

Event Timing: 1:30pm – 3:00pm

 

RULES AND REGULATIONS:

  1. The competition is only for graduate and postgraduate students of affiliated college or universities.
  2. Participants must arrive at the venue 15 minutes prior to the event i.e. 1:15pm.
  3. Time should not exceed 3 minutes. Exceeding the time limit may lead to penalty of marks or disqualification.
  4. Participants must submit their pre-cut music half an hour before the scheduled time of the event.
  5. No particular theme.
  6. The music should be in mp3 and mp4 format and the participants are requested to bring the music in Pen drive and also have a backup of the same.
  7. Make sure the version is clean/family friendly otherwise penalty may be applied.
  8. Participants should get their own props.
  9. Smoking, alcohol, fire, swords, guns, knives or live animals are strictly prohibited.
  10. Certificate of participation will be given to all the participants.
  11. The participants will be judged on their costumes, visual presentation and dance form. Also the decision of the judges will be final and unquestionable.
  12. In case of any situation which has not been mentioned above, the decision taken by the coordinators will be final.

Guidelines for NAQAAB

Time limit: 1.5 hours

Venue: Room Number-2, First Floor, Fortune Institute of International Business

Event Timing: 10am-12pm

“Face painting – A dream realized in the painter’s touch”. The medium of art is an essential element in expression and perspective. Faces for canvas.

1 The Competition is only open to Graduate and Post Graduate students of the Affiliated Colleges or Universities.

2 Participants must report at the venue 15 minutes prior to the event i.e. 09:45 a.m.

3 Certificate of participation will be provided to all the participants.

6 The theme for this event will be disclosed on the day of the event.

7 Participants are expected to carry all the materials required for the competition. Please note that nothing will be provided by the event coordinators.

“Every pattern has to be filled with colors. Let’s bring out the intricate vision in you.”

 

Rules and Regulations: –

  1. The Competition is only open to Graduate and Post Graduate students of the

Affiliated Colleges or Universities.

  1. Maximum time to complete the Rangoli is two hours. No extended time will be given.
  2. Participants need to bring all the required materials for their Rangoli.
  3. Rangoli must be put only on the allotted space. No extra space should be utilized.
  4. You can make a team of 2-4 members.
  5. Certificate of participation will be provided to all the participants. The winners will be awarded.
  6. The decision of the judges will be final and unquestionable.
