To Participate in the hassgulle competition one must have prepared solo or group comedy routine. There should be a minimum of 3 members.

All comedy material does not include :

Vulgar language or and repeated profanity.

Violent situations and descriptions, inappropriate sexual gestures and descriptions, nudity, inappropriate racism, failure to comply will result in immediate dismissal from the hassgulle competition.

Applicants must specify what they need for their performance in their submitted application. Set and tech equipment availabl to performers are as follows :

  1. Two hand- held wireless microphones with microphone stands, choral mics, two tall stools, two short stools, and four chairs.

Limited entries based on First Come First Serve basis.

Time Limit- 4-5 mins.

Participants will be judged on the basis of content, fluency, spontaneity, presentation, and sense of humor.

Negative marking for exceeding the time limit.

Tattoo Making = Conquer & leave the Mark ✌

Rules and Regulations: –.

  1. Duration of Tattoo making should not exceed more than 15 minutes. Exceeding the time limit will lead to a penalty of disqualification.
  2. 2 member ( one who will draw and the other person on whom art will be performed)
  3. The tattoo has to be made without any media help or any kind of help.
  4. A tattoo should be made on the following parts of the body: Face, both hands, neck
  5. Scoring will be done on a 1-10 scale where a parameter such as originality, design, coloring, clarity will be taken into account
  6. Participants are expected to carry all their materials such as sketch pens, brush, paints, water bowls, palettes etc.
  7. A tattoo can be of any type or categories such as horror, traditional, realism and many more as per your knowledge and skill.
  8. External Students (Non – Fiib students) have to bring an ID card with them for proof.
  9. The decision of the judges will be final and unquestionable.
  10. Certification of participation will be provided to all the participants.

Participants registering for Online Photography have to follow the following guidelines:

Participants should post their photographs on our Facebook page (Samavesh FIIB /samavesh.fiib.edu.in) with any of the above-mentioned themes.

The photographs should be accompanied by a Suitable Caption, moreover, it’s the picture who should do the talking!

Copyright: the copyright in all images submitted to the competition will remain with the owner who will be credited. Each entrant grants to the organizers a license to use their images in relation to the competition and the exhibition if required.

There must not be any watermarks, copyright marks or any text/graphic on the picture.

Please limit your adjustment to minor changes of cropping, sharpening, and contrast. Avoid significant over or under color saturation. Dodging (to brighten shadows) or burning (to darken highlights) is allowed, but the alterations should enable the photographer to closely resemble what you see. Please avoid any extensive manipulation.

Note: Use of any unethical means or Plagiarism should be strictly avoided and such photographs shall be immediately disqualified from the competition. Guidelines for the participation in “Sports event”- CARROM

Time Limit: 20 minutes

Rules-

Foul rules-

  • The striker is pocketed.
  • The striker or any other piece leaves the board.
  • A player pockets an opponent’s piece. If the Queen was also pocketed, it is returned to the center by the opponent together with the penalty piece. Any other pieces pocketed in the same strike remain pocketed.
  • A player pockets the final opponent’s piece. Regardless of whether the Queen has been covered, the opponent’s piece is returned to the center in addition to the penalty piece.
  • A player pockets the final piece before the Queen has been covered. In this case, both the pocketed piece and a penalty piece are returned to the center.
  • A player contravenes the rules for striking.
  • A player touches any piece in play, other than the striker.
  • The first player to strike fails to break the counters in three attempts.

Basic rules-

  • If the striker goes into the pocket, the player loses a chance and one of his pocketed pieces.
  • If a piece and the striker goes into the pocket at the same time, then the player loses two of his pocketed pieces but gets a chance to shoot again.
  • The player is not allowed to move or get up from his chair while shooting.
  • If a piece falls off from the carrom board, it should be placed at the center.
  • Only the players’ wrist is allowed to touch the carrom board and not any other part of the body or hand.
  • Players are not allowed to change sides once the game has begun.
  • If the striker fails to leave both the lines, i.e. does not move in a single strike, the player gets 3 chances before he loses his turn.
  • The thumb can be used for backward shots or the player can make use of rebound shots to strike the pieces touching the player’s baseline.

  • The Competition is only open to Graduate and Post Graduate students of the Affiliated Colleges or Universities.

  • Time should not exceed more than 5 minutes. Exceeding the time limit will lead to a penalty of marks or disqualification.
  • The participants can speak in English or Hindi or Punjabi or regional language.
  • An individual can carry a script for the 1st

  • Please note, entrants should only submit one poem to the competition, multiple entries will not be judged.

Rules and Regulations:

  1. It should be a Group performance
  2. The competition is only open to Graduate and Post Graduate students of the Affiliated College or Universities.
  3. No limit to team size Minimum being 3 or 5.
  4. Registration is a must. Participants have to register themselves through registration forms by contacting coordinators.
  5. Participants have to submit their tracks before January 19, 2019, to the coordinators
  6. Repetition of songs is not allowed. Songs to be selected on first come first basis.
  7. Time should not exceed more than 5 minutes. Exceeding the time limit will lead to a penalty of marks or disqualification.
  8. Participants also have to bring their own tracks in pen drives
  9. Participants can dance on any regional language (Hindi, English, and Punjabi)
  10. Participants have to come prepared with Dance Songs.
  11. Participants have to come with their own costumes, props, makeup etc.

  • The decision of the judges will be final and unquestionable.
  • Language can be Hindi/English. Regional touch can be given.
  • Exceeding the time limit will lead to a penalty of marks.
  • An introduction of 2-3 lines is to be given before the presentation.
  • The contestants are strictly advised not to disclose the name of their college/institution to the jury members/audience while introducing themselves.
  • The order of the performances will be decided by the coordinators and will be shared with the participants after the registration deadline.
  • The theme of the street play should be socially relevant and highlight societal issues.

  • The songs are to be sung in either English or Hindi.
  • Time limit for solo singing is 3-4 minutes.
  • Participants will be given a warning signal at 3:30 minutes and at 4:00 minutes.
  • If the performance time exceeds at 4 minutes, the participants will be declared disqualified
  • The order of the performances will be decided by the coordinators and will be shared with the participants.
  • Participants must bring their own instruments or instrumental music to perform.

  1. The competition is only for graduate and postgraduate students of affiliated college or universities.
  2. Participants must arrive at the venue 15 minutes prior to the event i.e. 1:15pm.
  3. Time should not exceed 3 minutes. Exceeding the time limit may lead to penalty of marks or disqualification.
  4. Participants must submit their pre-cut music half an hour before the scheduled time of the event.
  5. No particular theme.
  6. The music should be in mp3 and mp4 format and the participants are requested to bring the music in Pen drive and also have a backup of the same.
  7. Make sure the version is clean/family friendly otherwise penalty may be applied.
  8. Participants should get their own props.
  9. Smoking, alcohol, fire, swords, guns, knives or live animals are strictly prohibited.
  10. Certificate of participation will be given to all the participants.
